Rental Policy

Party Pointe reserves the right to refuse any and all event rental services at any time. By entering into an agreement with Party Pointe for the rental of products and/or provision of services, you as the Client agrees to the following terms and conditions:  RESERVATION AND PAYMENTS To confirm reservation, Party Pointe requires contact information, a valid credit card number, a non-refundable deposit and signature on your rental contract. Deposit is equal to 50% of your total order and is applied towards your final balance. Your order is not considered ‘reserved’ until Party Pointe receives a deposit and a signed contract. Payments can be processed by credit card, Interac, cash, personalized cheque with ID, or direct deposit. Party Pointe processes payments over the phone,by email, or by mail. You must pay all outstanding balance before delivery or pick-up.

LATE RETURNS Late returns will be charged an additional full-day rental rate for each day that the items are in your possession. If you are not able to return rented items on time, please inform Party Pointe so that we are able to make a note on your account. If we require the items for another order, we will make arrangements to pick the items ourselves, at the cost of a one-way pick-up fee, charged to the credit card on file.

CANCELLATIONS And RENTAL PERIOD When you make a reservation with Party Pointe, reserved items are made unavailable to other potential customers to ensure you have your items on the day of your event. Any reductions in items must be received by Party Pointe within 10 working days prior to your event. Any cancellations made within 10 working days will be subject to a cancellation fee. Any increases in your items must be made prior to your pick-up or delivery, and are subject to item availability. Additional rental items will be billed separately. This policy helps us to ensure your orders are ready and accurate for your event. If you cancel your entire reservation, you will forfeit your initial reservation deposit.Our rental rate is based on a per night rental. Should you require an extended rental, please contact Party Pointe and ask about our multi-day rates.

DELIVERY FEES AND RENTAL PICK-UP Delivery rates are based on drop off points and must be accessible to our vehicle, usually your front yard, driveway or garage. Deliveries require signature of a responsible party for equipment to be dropped-off. Should you require services beyond set-up and tear-down, please request a quote prior to your event. Delivery is an additional fee as rates will vary depending on location. All deliveries are made to the ground/first floor loading area only. Deliveries to alternate floors will incur a surcharge at booking. Unless special arrangements have been made prior to pick-up, you may pick-up your rental any time after 5:00pm on the day before your event, and may return no later than 10:00 am on the day specified on your rental contract. Either you or someone else can pick up your order. If another person will be picking up your rental items, they will need to provide the order name and the order number, as well as settling any outstanding balance on the account. If you require your rental earlier than 5:00pm the day before your event, please contact Party Pointe to make any necessary arrangement. You are responsible for any and all damages that may occur during transportation to and from your event site.

RENTAL CONFIRMATION AND RETURNS Party Pointe does its best to make sure your order is complete. If you discover any missing or damaged items upon receipt, please contact us immediately so that we can make a note on your account and make arrangements to replace the items if desired. If it is after office hours please leave a message or call our after-hours emergency line (204-996-9701). We will contact you as soon as possible. Many factors can contribute to items being lost or damaged during an event. We cannot accept disputes after an event is over. If you will not be returning the items yourself or be present for the pick-up, or will not be in contact after your event, Party Pointe will require the name and contact information of the person who will be responsible for your rental. It is best to appoint someone who will be in charge of the return. Upon return, items must be cleaned with a dry cloth or paper towel. Please do not use water or any liquid substance during cleaning as this may damage rental equipment. To avoid extra charges, Party Pointe recommends that you count your order before returning it to ensure all items and packaging are accounted for. Party Pointe also counts every order when it is returned to our facility. If you are not willing or able to wait for your order to be counted by Party Pointe staff upon return, then we will not accept any disputes over missing or damaged items. As we take in many orders in a day, there may be a slight wait as returns are counted on a first come, first serve basis.

MISSING AND DAMAGED ITEMS If you have missing or damaged items upon return, you will be informed as soon as possible. If the missing items cannot be found or if we are unable to contact you or the person responsible within 48 hours of your specified return date, replacement fees will be automatically charged to the credit card on file. If any items can be located and returned within one week of your specified return date in good condition, we will refund the full amount. No refund will be authorized after one week. Security fee for damaged items must be paid upon receipt of an invoice. This fee is refundable if items are returned in good condition. Any items considered un-rentable by Party Pointe standards will be charged at full replacement value. The customer is responsible for the items from the time of pick-up/delivery until the items are returned to Party Pointe. Be sure that all equipment is secure and protected from the weather while it is in your possession. We do charge for soiled, broken, damaged or missing items, including packaging materials. There will be an extra cleaning charge for any wax, excessive grease, ink and or hard to remove stains on any of our products. Our insurance does not cover equipment while it is in your possession.

REPLACEMENT, MISSING OR DAMAGED ITEMS Party Pointe prides itself in the provision of unique and exclusive items to our clients. In a situation where a rented item was damaged prior to your reservation date. Party Pointe will advise you at least 48 hours prior to your reservation date and will use its best efforts to replace the item with a similar item of equal value. If the item cannot be replaced, then Party Pointe will refund you the rental rate for that item. By signing this rental agreement, clients agree to abide by all the conditions, rules and regulations printed on the rental agreement.
